Pay: £10.53 per hour

The Lakes Care Centre is a state of the art 64 bedded specialist dementia and nursing care centre, offering the opportunity for residents to live in luxury surroundings, with experienced qualified nurses and care professionals on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Its waterside position with beautiful views over the lake will promote an atmosphere of calmness and tranquility for our residents and we are working with the University of Sterling Dementia Services Centre and DSDC to ensure we meet their Gold Standard in dementia design.

We are now beginning the recruitment of our new care team!

As a Care Leader you play an integral part of the care team, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting your care team ensuring they are providing high quality of care and service to all residents at all times.

You’ll play a key part with care delivery in the home, ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents care.

You will take an active part in engaging with residents to understand their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences. Working within the Care team you will show warmth, compassion and support to our residents and their families; helping to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

Requirements for the Role:

For this role you must:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 months full-time or equivalent work in a residential care setting with older people.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of Dementia Care.
