Digital Marketing Manager

Hours of work: 37.5 per week with a hybrid working pattern (Permanent role).

Location: Sandford Gate, Oxford office OX4 6LB.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the role

The key objective of this role is to lead the digital marketing strategy and delivery of the digital marketing plan for the Trust to support the overarching objectives of driving present and future occupancy through awareness, engagement and call to action, and also supporting the needs of recruitment and internal communications. Core responsibilities will include management, development and optimisation of the brand website, social media strategy and execution, digital advertising, digital innovation and advising on optimum digital methods for internal communications and recruitment.

 Other responsibilities include:

  • Leading the overarching direction of the digital marketing strategy and the role of different digital platforms and tools, and optimum content, in supporting the achievement of agreed strategic objectives.
  • Overseeing the strategic direction and performance of the organisation’s website(s) and the role of different social media accounts and paid digital advertising.
  • Leading the digital content strategy to support the overarching brand positioning, marketing strategy and plan, and in line with organisational objectives, 5 year plan direction and compliance requirements.
  • Developing an employer brand digital marketing strategy, working with senior colleagues to develop the plan and relevant tools to support the needs of employee recruitment, retention and internal communications.
  • Assuming full responsibility for the company website, evaluating its performance and directing its long-term development.
  • Devising and delivering cost effective digital marketing plans to support the overarching marketing strategy both at a brand and individual home level, to deliver target number of residents for existing and new launch homes.
  • Directing the social media strategy and oversee its implementation by the Social Media Executive in order to enhance audience growth and engagement across all brand social media.
  • Implementing strategic adjustments and optimisations to boost performance and drive action e.g. website visits, direct enquiries, online reviews etc.
  • Making recommendations on the choice and use of affiliates and directory platforms, content, social media presence and customer engagement.
  • Leading the organisation in the use of different ways to improve the brand’s online presence and profiles to drive awareness of our homes and positive competitive differentiation.
  • Engaging with internal teams, suppliers, and external parties to troubleshoot, collaborate, and ensure the digital strategies align with organisational goals, whilst educating those who require understanding.
  • Providing strategic management information, analytical monitoring and insight to key stakeholders, along with recommendations, to ensure that the Trust’s use of digital media is always cost effective.
  • Representing the marketing team in the development and implementation of the right CRM capability, contributing to the pilot implementation and reporting opportunities to deliver against the agreed success factors.
  • Managing relationships with external digital agencies and other partners to ensure optimal integration and performance of digital strategies.
  • Providing digital expertise to help inform the marketing strategy, and ensure other team members are equipped and supported in their roles.
  • Managing digital marketing expenditure effectively, within agreed budgets, ensuring optimal expenditure, effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Beeing seen as the in-house digital marketing expert, able to advise colleagues at all levels on digital marketing queries, areas of innovation, competitor activity etc.
  • With the rest of the Marketing and recruitment team, act as a brand guardian in terms of look and feel of online communications as well as tone of voice of copy.
  • Managing expenditure within agreed budget.

 

About You

We are looking for a proactive candidate with significant digital marketing experience who has gained experienced in a multi-site organisation. The candidate would be able to provide evidence of creating, delivering, optimising, and evaluating high performing digital marketing strategies and campaigns. Significant digital marketing experience across the full digital spectrum (web development and management, SEO, PPC, digital advertising, affiliates, platform directories, email marketing and social media) is essential. Experience within the health and social care sector is beneficial but not essential.
